Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonardo DeRosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Logan Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell throws an ugly left hook that misses
and DeRosa counters with a straight right hand.
Left hook, right uppercut from Mitchell.
DeRosa tries to close the distance and clinch but Mitchell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
DeRosa throws a wild body kick that Mitchell sees coming a mile off.
DeRosa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mitchell moves away.
Mitchell clobbers DeRosa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mitchell misses with the combination.
Mitchell scores with a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mitchell throws a lazy uppercut
and DeRosa counters with a good, hard body kick but Mitchell shrugs it off.
DeRosa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Logan Mitchell has been cut.
Mitchell throws a body punch but DeRosa moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from DeRosa.
Mitchell lunges at DeRosa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by DeRosa's hand.
DeRosa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
DeRosa digs a good body shot into Mitchell's ribs.
DeRosa seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mitchell steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from DeRosa. That one must have hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mitchell throws a looping overhand right but DeRosa ducks down to avoid it.
DeRosa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
DeRosa dodges the punch combination from Mitchell.
DeRosa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Leonardo DeRosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from DeRosa.
DeRosa throws a wild body kick that Mitchell sees coming a mile off.
Mitchell moves out of range of the body kick.
Mitchell takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A left lands for Mitchell.
DeRosa tried to score with a low kick but Mitchell checks it.
DeRosa thows a leg kick but Mitchell checks it
and Mitchell counters with a nice uppercut.

DeRosa looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
DeRosa takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mitchell misses the shot to the body.
Mitchell is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops DeRosa like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving DeRosa from another fist facial!
