Losev's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Celine Dion - Thats The Way It Is. Big Hardon Jr acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardon Jr moves away from the strike by Losev.
Losev looks to land a left hand but Hardon Jr moved out of range nicely.
Losev misses with a right hand
and Hardon Jr counters with a slapping leg kick.
That kick from Hardon Jr tenderised Losev's leg. Losev is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nikolai Losev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardon Jr slips under a jab from Losev.
Hardon Jr connects with a leg kick. Losev looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Losev throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Losev throws an off balance right hand
and Hardon Jr counters with a leg kick.
Losev missing with a left hand there. Hardon Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Losev lands with a hook. Hardon Jr tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Losev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hardon Jr.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hardon Jr.
Hardon Jr lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hardon Jr tries a body shot but Losev blocks it.
Losev wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hardon Jr breaks from the clinch.
The fighters circling - Losev throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hardon Jr drives through with a takedown into Losev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hardon Jr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hardon Jr wants to clinch up but Losev keeps it at a distance.

Losev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hardon Jr throws out the jab.
Losev misses with an uppercut
and Hardon Jr counters with a head kick. That will keep Losev thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Hardon Jr lands a nice looking body kick.
Losev throws an off balance right hand
and Hardon Jr counters with an outside leg kick.
Hardon Jr connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hardon Jr lands with a kick to the ribs.
Nice straight punches there by Hardon Jr. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hardon Jr.
Hardon Jr turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Losev rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hardon Jr counters with a thumping low kick.
Losev is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Hardon Jr avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Losev misses with a lunging right hand
and Hardon Jr counters with a leg kick.
Losev is breathing heavily.
Hardon Jr lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Losev swings widly with a right hand
and Hardon Jr counters with a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick from Hardon Jr lands but Losev takes it in his stride.
It looks like Nikolai Losev has been cut.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hardon Jr.
Hardon Jr throws a quick inside leg kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hardon Jr - that will leave a mark!

Hardon Jr lands a head kick that stumbles Losev and the fighters go to the mat.
Losev is rocked!
Hardon Jr gets to his feet and stands over Losev, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Losev felt that one! Hardon Jr unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Losev from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Hardon Jr!
