Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Warner Shelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Rothstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rothstein is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Everyday is like Sunday - Morissey. Warner Shelton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothstein misses with an uppercut.
Rothstein's coach down at Finch Farm was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rothstein's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Rothstein is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shelton.
Rothstein feints and as Shelton raises his hands in defense, Rothstein changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shelton is on top in guard.
Shelton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rothstein works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shelton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rothstein wants to stand and escape but Shelton is having none of it.
Shelton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Shelton won't allow Rothstein to sweep him here.

Shelton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rothstein is striking off his back. Shelton thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Shelton is thwarting Rothstein's attempts to control the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rothstein is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Shelton has latched onto it... Big trouble! Shelton pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Rothstein is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Shelton!
