The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulysses loads up on a big right hand but Gilligan slips the punch.

We've been hearing good reports from Gilligan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close second round but I would say that Willy Gilligan will probably get the nod.

Ulysses sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

BOOM! Gilligan connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Gilligan is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ulysses is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ulysses flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gilligan anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ulysses and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gilligan slips an arm under Ulysses chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gilligan has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gilligan is squeezing on Ulysses like an anaconda would it's prey. Ulysses fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
