The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ler gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ler with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Romero is looking to break free of the clinch but Ler has double underhooks.
Ler jumps guard.
Romero got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Romero has managed to get both his arms back between Ler's legs - danger averted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Romero is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ler has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Romero is looking to defend but Ler has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Romero! Ler pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Romero taps out and this one is all over!
