The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asos throws a shot from downtown. Howe moves away and avoids it.
Asos misses with an uppercut. Howe saw that one coming.

Asos rushes Howe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Asos wants to get back to striking at distance but Howe won't allow it.
Asos wants to break free but Howe has control.

Howe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Asos misses with a hook. Howe ducked under it nicely.
Asos avoids the body shot from Howe.
Asos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Asos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Howe manages to avoid it.
Howe just misses with a punch to the body.

Asos has managed to clinch.
Asos is trying to break the clinch but Howe is controlling him.

Howe pulls guard effortlessly.
Howe wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Asos wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Howe's closed guard. He's half up but Howe has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Howe pivots and extends the arm, Asos falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Howe! Well done that man!
