Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mertsi Peltola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Major Lazer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mertsi Peltola!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Major Lazer!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Peltola avoids it really well and circles away.
Lazer shoots in but Peltola avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Peltola catches Lazer with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Peltola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lazer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peltola.
Lazer shoots in for a double leg but Peltola sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mertsi Peltola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Major Lazer.
Lazer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Peltola sprawls well. Peltola wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lazer gets slowly back to his feet.
Lazer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Peltola.
Peltola misses with a straight right.
Lazer drops his hands momentarily and Peltola takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Peltola dives in and scores a takedown into Lazer's guard.
Lazer has control of Peltola's left arm, preventing Peltola from doing any damage.
Lazer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Peltola's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lazer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peltola swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Peltola escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lazer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Peltola has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lazer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lazer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lazer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Peltola does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Peltola is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A close round but Major Lazer will probably get the nod.

Lazer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Peltola on his heels. He'll look to pass Peltola's guard now, I'm sure.

Major Lazer has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lazer content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Peltola has locked up a guillotine! Peltola's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lazer is holding on here and Peltola must be using up a lot of energy. Lazer has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Peltola gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
