Kuukonen has chosen Armin Van Buuren - Rapture as his entrance music. Jaari Kuukonen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tuberculo Meningitis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaari Kuukonen!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meningitis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kuukonen throws an overhand right that lands on Meningitis's shoulder, as Meningitis tries to avoid the shot.
Kuukonen misses with a straight left.
Kuukonen misses the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuukonen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Meningitis shoots for a takedown but Kuukonen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kuukonen throws out a loose jab but Meningitis uses good head movement to avoid it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kuukonen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Jaari Kuukonen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jaari Kuukonen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Meningitis is desperately trying to improve his position but Kuukonen has a good base and remains in mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jaari Kuukonen just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jaari Kuukonen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kuukonen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
