Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Slider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Wiltsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiltsie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mein Herz Brennt. The key to victory for William Slider has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Slider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Wiltsie!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slider avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wiltsie is looking to clinch but Slider is avoiding it.
Left hook, right uppercut from Slider.
Wiltsie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wiltsie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Wiltsie tries to pull guard but Slider won't allow it.
Slider stalling.
Slider has a couple of punches blocked by Wiltsie.
Slider is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Wiltsie is looking for a sweep. Slider is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wiltsie is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Slider jumps into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slider is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wiltsie will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Wiltsie tries to bench press Slider off him but Slider keeps the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wiltsie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Slider is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Wiltsie is trying to hold Slider in close to prevent damage but Slider has managed to pass into half guard.
Slider seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Wiltsie is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Slider pulls his head out easily.

Slider takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Slider throws a nice looking combination but Wiltsie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wiltsie clinches but Slider breaks the clinch
and Slider counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wiltsie thinking.
The fighters circling - Wiltsie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wiltsie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Slider wants to clinch.
Slider defending well as Wiltsie loads up on a big left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robert Wiltsie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wiltsie tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Slider makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Slider swings for the body but Wiltsie moves out of range.
Wiltsie looks to score with a jab to the body but Slider is just out of range.
Slider throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wiltsie circles away from the clinch attempt.

Wiltsie closes the distance and clinches up with Slider, looking for a takedown. Wiltsie pushes Slider against the cage but Slider circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A punch combination from Slider misses.
Wiltsie shoots in for a double leg but Slider sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
William Slider is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wiltsie throws a series of punches but Slider avoids them all with ease.
Wiltsie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wiltsie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
William Slider is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

enabling Slider to counter with a crisp jab.

Wiltsie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
William Slider has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Wiltsie.

Slider can't break the clinch.
A body shot lands from Slider.
Slider is working Wiltsie over against the cage.
Wiltsie is breathing heavily.
Slider tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Wiltsie has Slider pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Slider manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Slider stuns Wiltsie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Slider tries to bum rush Wiltsie with a series of wild strikes but Wiltsie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Slider throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wiltsie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slider.
Danga de danga de dang - Slider scores with a four punch combination!
Wiltsie misses with a body shot.
Slider throws a combination that misses

and Wiltsie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Slider won't be happy with that.
Slider is not content to let Wiltsie control the position.

Wiltsie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wiltsie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wiltsie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Slider is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wiltsie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Wiltsie is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Slider has managed to free his arm - good work.

Slider lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wiltsie!

Slider really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wiltsie flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Wiltsie is squirming around, avoiding Slider's attempts to control the action.

I would just about give that final round to Robert Wiltsie.
