Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carver has chosen Jay Z - Run this Town (Broken Halo Remix) as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Solomon Carver!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carver is fending him off so far but Hall persists. Nope, Carver circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice cross by Carver.

It looks like Ryan Hall has been cut.
Hall throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hall slips a jab and a cross from Carver.
Hall avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Carver throws a series of punches but Hall avoids them all with ease.
Carver takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hall looks for a takedown but Carver sprawls well.
Hall slips under a jab from Carver.
Hall swings for the body but Carver moves out of range.
Hall shoots for a takedown but Carver saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hall tries to bum rush Carver with a series of wild strikes but Carver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hall misses with an uppercut.
Hall fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Carver checks it well.
Hall shoots in but no luck this time.

Hall walks into a left hand.
Carver throws a shot to the body.
Hall is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carver dips to his left and cracks Hall with an uppercut!
Carver digs a good body shot into Hall's ribs.
Hall gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Carver drops Hall with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hall looks back up at him and smiles so Carver waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hall is rocked!
Carver lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hall off his feet! Hall tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
