Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Irvin Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mega Carnage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mega Carnage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mega Carnage!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnage with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Carnage is looking to land body kicks.
A nice inside leg kick there by Carnage. That's going to slow Morgan down.
Carnage looks for a takedown but Morgan sprawls well.
Mega Carnage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carnage clinches up against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Carnage.
Carnage is looking to control Morgan's arms but Morgan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Carnage has his back to the cage.
Nice body punch from Carnage.
Morgan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Carnage to keep the fight standing.

Carnage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Carnage slaps away a takedown attempt from Morgan, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Carnage shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morgan pinned against the cage. Morgan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Morgan throws a nice looking combination but Carnage bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Carnage shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morgan defends it nicely.

and Morgan counters with a left and a right that stings Carnage.
Morgan moves in looking to clinch but Carnage pushes him off.
Carnage stuffs the takedown attempt from Morgan. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet.
Carnage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mega Carnage dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Morgan shoots for a takedown but Carnage saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Carnage wants to clinch up but Morgan keeps it at a distance.
Carnage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morgan avoids it really well and circles away.
Morgan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Carnage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carnage as he jumps to the side.

Morgan tries to break the clinch but Carnage is controlling the position.
Carnage jumps guard but Morgan stands there with Carnage around his waist. Carnage gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Carnage can't get the takedown.
Morgan is looking to control Carnage's arms but Carnage gets an underhook and turns him. Now Morgan has his back to the cage.

Morgan drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Carnage sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Morgan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Carnage controlling from the top position.
Morgan trying to keep a closed guard but Carnage is proving a slippery customer.

Morgan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Morgan is wriggling around but Carnage manages to pass to half guard.
Morgan tries to get to full guard but Carnage has control of the leg.
Carnage controlling the action here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carnage is looking for a kimura but Morgan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carnage to get the leverage.
Morgan is not content to let Carnage control the position.
Morgan is looking to control Carnage's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morgan avoid being mounted?
Morgan wants to get back to full guard.
Carnage content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Irvin Morgan will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Carnage tries for a takedown but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Morgan feints and as Carnage raises his hands in defense, Morgan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morgan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Morgan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Carnage is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morgan, into his guard.
Morgan looking for a sweep. Not yet Morgan, not yet.
Carnage has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Carnage missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Morgan trying to keep a closed guard but Carnage is proving a slippery customer.

Morgan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carnage on the ground.

Irvin Morgan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Carnage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Morgan wants to stand and escape but instead Carnage has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Carnage is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mega Carnage has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Carnage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carnage wants it to stay on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Irvin Morgan.
I think Morgan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
