The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaehnke connects with a solid leg kick.
Vladislav throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jaehnke uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vladislav.
We've been told by Vladislav's head coaches at ROCK-A-FELLA FIGHT CLUB that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jaehnke slips a jab and a cross from Vladislav.
Jaehnke has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jaehnke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vladislav tries to avoid it but Jaehnke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vladislav to the ground. Vladislav escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jaehnke tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vladislav defends well and Jaehnke ends up having to push Vladislav into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Bojan Vladislav will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, if Jaehnke is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Vladislav makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vladislav.
Jaehnke wants to control from the top but Vladislav keeps moving.
Jaehnke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vladislav. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vladislav has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jaehnke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Vladislav bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jaehnke's guard.

Jaehnke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jaehnke is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Vladislav is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bojan Vladislav overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jaehnke wants to control but Vladislav is keeping busy.

Jaehnke is looking to control Vladislav's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jaehnke avoid being mounted?

Vladislav is looking for a kimura but Jaehnke is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vladislav to get the leverage.

Vladislav looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jaehnke can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vladislav looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vladislav is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jaehnke can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Vladislav has control of Jaehnke's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jaehnke regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Vladislav is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jaehnke is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jaehnke flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Vladislav anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jaehnke and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Vladislav slips an arm under Jaehnke chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Vladislav has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Vladislav is squeezing on Jaehnke like an anaconda would it's prey. Jaehnke fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
