Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Tefft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Colbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Will Tefft!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chris Colbert!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tefft looks to throw the jab but Colbert is out of range.
A punch combination from Tefft misses.
Colbert avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tefft lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Colbert circles away quickly and effectively.
Colbert pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tefft is out of range and Colbert settles back down.
Some bone on bone action there as Colbert checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Tefft slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.


It looks like Chris Colbert has been cut.
Tefft slaps away a takedown attempt from Colbert, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tefft swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Colbert counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Colbert.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Tefft.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tefft scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Colbert jumps guard but Tefft stands there with Colbert around his waist. Colbert gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tefft wants to get back to striking at distance but Colbert won't allow it.
Tefft is trying to stall.
Tefft has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee calls for Colbert to work.
A left hand lands to the body for Tefft.
Tefft lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tefft presses Colbert against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Colbert looks winded!
Tefft looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A short body shot lands from Tefft as the two fighters clinch.
Tefft can't break the clinch.
Tefft pushes Colbert back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Tefft lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Tefft digs a right hand into Colbert's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Colbert's gas tank.
Tefft definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Colbert managing to block the knees to the body from Tefft.
Colbert is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tefft is defending well for now.
Tefft throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Tefft lands a body shot in the clinch.

Tefft has clasped his hands together around Colbert's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Colbert tries to improve position but can't.
Tefft tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Colbert is looking for a sweep.
Tefft wants to stand but Colbert has his arm trapped.
Colbert tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Colbert manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tefft tries to stand and escape but Colbert is controlling the position.
Colbert should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Colbert looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tefft tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Colbert.
Colbert wants to improve his position but Tefft is controlling well.
Colbert regains full guard. Nicely done.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Colbert looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tefft is one step ahead there.
Tefft is looking to stand up but Colbert won't let him.

Colbert working for a triangle but Tefft defends it easily.
Tefft knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Colbert on the ground.
Colbert lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tefft!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tefft is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Colbert controlling the pace for now.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Tefft is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Tefft is working to get back to half guard.
My spies in Island Top Team inform me that Colbert has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Colbert throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circle momentarily. Tefft darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tefft scores with a hook.
Tefft misses with a wild combination.
Tefft throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tefft swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Colbert takes one on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Tefft moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Colbert! Tefft continues to tee off on Colbert, landing with a left and a right! Tefft connects with a right hand that leaves Colbert sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Tefft!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Will Tefft!
Will Tefft gave a mention to Atlantis in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
