Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Lobas.
Firbino chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lobas can pounce on him.
Firbino has a takedown stuffed.

Firbino gets tackled into the cage by Lobas. Lobas maintains the clinch.
Firbino avoiding damage as Lobas throws knees to the body.

Lobas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lobas darts in and clinches Firbino up against the cage.
Lobas prevents Firbino from breaking the clinch.
Lobas fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lobas softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Firbino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Firbino fails with the takedown.
Lobas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lobas tries to bum rush Firbino with a series of wild strikes but Firbino uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lobas has been working on his balance at , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Firbino.

Firbino displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lobas.
Lobas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Firbino.
Lobas fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Lobas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lobas.

Lobas clinches up against the cage.
Firbino on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Firbino wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lobas has him pressed against the cage.

Lobas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lobas uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Firbino has time to react.

It looks like Andre Firbino has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lobas.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lobas. That's going to slow Firbino down.

Firbino on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Lobas avoids the head kick by Firbino.
Lobas thuds a left hand into Firbino's body.
Lobas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Firbino looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Firbino looks winded!
Firbino takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Lobas instigates a clinch.
Firbino fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Firbino is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lobas manages to break the clinch.
Lobas cracks the inside of Firbino's front leg.
Firbino tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lobas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lobas drops Firbino with a right and a left! Lobas comes rushing in but Firbino regains his composure and manages to keep Lobas in guard.

Firbino is rocked!
Lobas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Firbino works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Firbino is still in real trouble! Can Lobas finish him?

Lobas throws a big right hand that misses.

Lobas missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Firbino seems to have recovered his senses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lobas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lobas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Firbino is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Firbino is looking to break free of the clinch but Lobas has double underhooks.
Lobas is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Firbino is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Firbino fails to pull guard.

Firbino's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Lobas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lobas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Firbino seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Lobas shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Firbino is backing up but Lobas catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Firbino covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Lobas Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
