The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jou throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Jou cracks Ribeiro with a good jab.
Jou closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jou misses with a straight left.
Ribeiro shoots in for a double leg but Jou sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jou lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Antonio Ribeiro has been cut.
Jou lands a jab to the nose.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jou lands a nice hook to Ribeiro's body. Ribeiro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jou lunges at Ribeiro with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ribeiro's hand.
Ribeiro is rocked!
Ribeiro switches off momentarily and Jou cracks him with a monster right hand! Ribeiro topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Jou dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Jou!
