Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Nightmare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Menezes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Menezes doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nightmare counters with a slapping leg kick.

Menezes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Menezes is looking for a kimura but Nightmare is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Menezes to get the leverage.

Menezes seems to be looking for submissions.
Nightmare gets full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Menezes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Nightmare wriggles free and stands up.

Menezes is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Nightmare can't fight it off and eventually Menezes manages to take the fight to the floor. Nightmare looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
