And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kesler to the mat! Kesler manages to get full guard.
Kesler looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kesler wants to sweep but no luck.
Adams passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kesler is not content to let Adams control the position.
Adams has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Adams has control of Kesler's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kesler regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Adams trying to control but Kesler is having none of it.

Kesler tries to improve his position but instead Adams has taken his back!
Adams is persistently looking for the submission but Kesler is defending it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Adams working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Adams is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kesler is defending well though. Adams let's go of the attempt for now.
Adams has his arm under Kesler's chin here. Game over son! Adams squeezes tightly and Kesler is forced to tap out!

After winning the bout, Samuel Adams thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
