Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Robins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aaron Robins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Baki Hanma!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma tries for a takedown but Robins circles away easily

and Robins counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Robins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Robins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hanma is standing up over Robins. Robins looks to escape but Hanma dives into side control.
Hanma is chipping away with strikes.
Robins prevents Hanma from moving into mount.

Hanma tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hanma has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robins dodges the ground and pound from Hanma.
Robins is trying to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Robins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Robins tries to buck Hanma off but Hanma is having none of it.
Hanma tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Robins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Robins tries to get out of the position.
Sloppy strikes there by Hanma.
Robins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hanma tries to score with some ground and pound. Robins controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The strikes coming from Hanma are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Robins is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hanma off and has taken his back!

Robins lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Robins.

Hanma tries to escape but Robins has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Robins just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Robins lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Robins is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Hanma has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Hanma's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Robins scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Robins doesn't have the hooks in and Hanma manages to turn into his guard.

Robins wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aaron Robins dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hanma shoots in but Robins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Robins checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Baki Hanma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robins drives through with a takedown into Hanma's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hanma escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Robins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hanma is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Robins has his hands clasped together but Hanma extends and breaks Robins's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hanma.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Baki Hanma!
A very excited looking Baki Hanma made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
