Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frontier Justice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsuomi Sakata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Justice might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Die for Metal. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sakata's choice of entrance music: Ketsunoke vs Shirinoke by Gintama OST. Mitsuomi Sakata told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mitsuomi Sakata!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justice pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sakata looks to score with a jab to the body but Justice is just out of range.
Sakata avoids the head kick by Justice.
Justice moves out of range as Sakata throws a body kick.
Justice defending well as Sakata loads up on a big left hand.
Sakata misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Justice counters with a single leg into guard. Sakata didn't expect that.

Justice wants to control from the top but Sakata keeps moving.
Justice has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Justice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Justice is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Justice accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Justice lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Justice throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sakata works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sakata is trying to control the position but Justice postures up.

Justice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sakata swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sakata holds on and takes a little breather.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Justice throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Justice seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Sakata looks for the body kick but Justice saw that one coming.

Justice fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Sakata has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

and Justice counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Justice's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sakata misses with a low kick as Justice jumps back.
Sakata takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Justice throws the left hand but Sakata avoids the punch easily.
Sakata takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Justice lands a body shot.
Sakata takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Justice buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Justice ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Justice cracks a nice hook into Sakata's ribs.
Justice throws a nice outside leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Sakata 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sakata gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Justice avoids the body shot from Sakata.
Sakata misses with a head kick.
Justice is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sakata can do to turn this around?

Justice is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

It looks like Mitsuomi Sakata has been cut.
Sakata is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Justice.
Frontier Justice is winning the standup battle so far.

Justice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab lands there for Justice.
Sakata is still on wobbly legs! Can Justice finish him?
Sakata tries a head kick but it misses.
Justice swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sakata.
Justice is looking to slow Sakata down with leg kicks.
Sakata takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sakata is holding his hands too far apart here. Justice throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Sakata is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

In his post fight interview, Frontier Justice started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
