Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyril Makarenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Turnbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Turnbull's choice of entrance music: "Haka". These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oh, that's a big right hand from Turnbull and Makarenko goes tumbling to the canvas! Turnbull follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Turnbull is trying to control. Makarenko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Turnbull not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Makarenko won't allow Turnbull to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turnbull working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
