Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliott misses the shot to the body.
Elliott throws a sloppy head kick and Strahovski moves out of range easily.
Elliott throws a good cross that connects.
Elliott goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Elliott with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Elliott fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Strahovski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Strahovski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Elliott.

John Elliott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elliott throws a push kick but Strahovski slaps the foot to one side.
Elliott defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Strahovski.
Strahovski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Elliott defends it nicely.

Strahovski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Elliott manages to avoid it.
Elliott thuds his shin into the meat of Strahovski's side.

Elliott uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Strahovski takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Elliott connects with a leg kick. Strahovski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Strahovski moves out of range as Elliott throws a body kick.

Strahovski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Elliott throws a head kick but Strahovski moves out of range.
Elliott throws an overhand right that lands on Strahovski's shoulder, as Strahovski tries to avoid the shot.
Elliott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Strahovski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Elliott.
Strahovski takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Elliott misses with a jab, cross combination.
Elliott throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Strahovski.
Strahovski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Elliott.
Elliott misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Strahovski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Elliott's waist but Elliott gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Strahovski off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Strahovski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Elliott misses with a kick to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Strahovski. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Strahovski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Strahovski is breathing heavily.
Strahovski fails with a takedown attempt.
Strahovski on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Elliott. Elliott obviously looking to wear him down.

Elliott throws a nice head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Elliott lands with a nice body kick.
Strahovski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Elliott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Strahovski scrambles back to his feet.
Elliott scores with a head kick.
Elliott looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Elliott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Elliott plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Elliott dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Elliott circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Strahovski to the canvas! Strahovski doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Elliott keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
