Liege kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Will T. Bear: For a Few Dollars . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liege closes the distance and clinches up with McCready, looking for a takedown. Liege pushes McCready against the cage but McCready circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

McCready pushes Liege away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Liege gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
McCready felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
