Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullwinkle swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bullwinkle throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Bullwinkle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bullwinkle swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bullwinkle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bullwinkle gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith wants to clinch up but Bullwinkle keeps it at a distance.

Bullwinkle connects with a single shot there.
Bullwinkle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bullwinkle. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bullwinkle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bullwinkle throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bullwinkle.
Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bullwinkle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Smith counters with a low kick, right behind Bullwinkle 's knee.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.
Bullwinkle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bullwinkle throws a shot from downtown. Smith moves away and avoids it.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bullwinkle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bullwinkle shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.

Bullwinkle has clasped his hands together around Smith's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bullwinkle throws an elbow but Smith slips to the side and avoids it well.
Smith is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bullwinkle asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Bullwinkle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bullwinkle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smith knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bullwinkle postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Smith is trying to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bullwinkle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bullwinkle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
