Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blom closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Abdalla gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Blom tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Blom thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Blom wants to stand up but Abdalla manages to regain full guard.
Abdalla pulls Blom in close to prevent any damage.
Abdalla's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Blom wants to stand and escape but instead Abdalla has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Blom darts in trying to clinch
and Abdalla counters with a thumping low kick.
Blom misses with a left hand
and Abdalla counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Viktor Blom has been cut.

Abdalla misses with a leg kick.
Blom closes the distance but Abdalla moves to the side
and Abdalla counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Blom is lucky that one didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abdalla tries a low kick but Blom avoids it.

Viktor Blom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Abdalla closes the distance and pushes Blom back into the cage.
Blom could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Blom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Blom shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Blom was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Abdalla manages to work his way to half guard, despite Blom's best efforts.
Abdalla holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Blom throws a strike but Abdalla avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Blom throws an elbow that misses. Abdalla uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blom's guard. Nice move by Abdalla!
Blom is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Abdalla pushes down on Blom's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Abdalla maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Blom could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Abdalla has cracked it and Blom is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Abdalla!
