The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato throws a nice outside leg kick.
Button throws a right and a left that both miss.
Button scores with a nice head shot.
Button looks to throw the jab but Sato is out of range.
Sato takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sato looks to score with a jab to the body but Button is just out of range.
Button throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sato makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rumina Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Button tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sato manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sato moves into range and connects with a jab.
Button slips under a jab.
Button uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sato.
Button connects with an inside leg kick.

Button shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Button showed some decent athleticism there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Button stops Sato from getting back to his feet.

Namiska Button tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
