Whitman has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kyle Amarce had a look across the cage there at his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amarce shoots in for a double leg but Whitman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Whitman throws a head kick but Amarce moves out of range.
Whitman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Whitman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Whitman closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Sloppy strikes from Whitman. Those never looked like landing.
Whitman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Amarce's head.

Amarce is rocked!
Amarce shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Amarce looks for a takedown but Whitman sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Amarce. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Amarce fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Whitman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Oh Amarce is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Amarce shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Whitman pinned against the cage. Whitman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Amarce seems to have got his legs back now.
Amarce takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Whitman lands a big head kick that sends Amarce tumbling to the mat! Whitman takes a step backwards and waves Amarce back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Kyle Amarce has been cut.

Amarce drops his hands momentarily and Whitman needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Amarce just on the top of the head. Amarce drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Amarce - he's done!
