Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renan Zapelini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaunak Das (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renan Zapelini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shaunak Das!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Zapelini.
Zapelini will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zapelini shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Das counters with a nice double leg into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Das stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zapelini swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Das connects with a couple of short punches.
Das wants to pass the guard but Zapelini is keeping the position.
Das sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zapelini keeping moving, preventing Das from controlling successfully.
Das is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Shaunak Das.
Zapelini shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Das pinned against the cage. Das gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renan Zapelini. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zapelini tries to clinch but Das moves out of range.
Das gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Zapelini.
Zapelini dives in for a single leg takedown but Das sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Das trying to land knees to the body.
Das is trying to push Zapelini away but Zapelini has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Zapelini is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Das gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Zapelini wants to take the fight to the mat but Das manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Zapelini is breathing heavily.
Das tries to break the clinch but Zapelini is controlling the position.
Das has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Zapelini is trying to keep an underhook but Das manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Das seems to be working for a kimura but Zapelini defends the submission attempt.
Das wants to stand but Zapelini has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Das uses his free foot to push down on Zapelini's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zapelini.
Das controlling the position easily from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zapelini is desperately trying to improve his position but Das has a good base and remains in mount.
Das manages to capitalize on a mistake by Zapelini to take his back!
A lull in the action here.
Das working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Zapelini is doing well to defend. Das seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Zapelini is forced to tap and this one is over!
