The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pylkkanen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kadowski.

Pylkkanen closes the distance and clinches up with Kadowski, looking for a takedown. Pylkkanen pushes Kadowski against the cage but Kadowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kadowski is looking to clinch but Pylkkanen is avoiding it.

We've been hearing reports that Kadowski has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kadowski is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Pylkkanen is trying to pull guard but Kadowski turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Stash Kadowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konsta Pylkkanen.

Kadowski unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Pylkkanen! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Kadowski is unloading with more strikes now! Pylkkanen drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
