Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aki Sunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knowshon Zavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunn comes into the arena with Yngwie Malmsteen Rising Force blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aki Sunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Knowshon Zavier!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Sunn finds it's way through Zavier's defenses.
Zavier throws a low kick but Sunn moves out of range easily.
Zavier looks to clinch
and Sunn counters with a good low kick that Zavier was not able to check.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sunn.
Zavier has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zavier there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fighters circling - Sunn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sunn throws a good cross that connects.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zavier darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sunn lands with a slapping head kick.
Sunn throws a leg kick which misses Zavier's front leg but catches the back leg as Zavier tries to avoid it.
Zavier throws a head kick but Sunn moves out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zavier looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Zavier connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sunn dodges the punch combination from Zavier.
Sunn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zavier. That did some damage!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sunn misses with a looping left.
Zavier takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sunn slips a jab and a cross from Zavier.
Sunn lands a two punch combo.
Zavier wants to clinch.
Sunn misses with a wild body shot.
Sunn lands a nice looking body kick.
Zavier's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sunn connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zavier scrambles back to his feet.
Zavier takes one on the button.
Sunn connects with a jab.
Sunn goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Zavier is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sunn scores with a hook to the body. Zavier takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Zavier is still on wobbly legs! Can Sunn finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sunn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sunn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sunn rushes Zavier with punches - Zavier moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Zavier goes down! Sunn follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aki Sunn!
