The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickels lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Orwell at a distance.
Orwell with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Nickels to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Owen Orwell has been cut.
Orwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nickels is fending him off so far but Orwell persists. Nope, Nickels circles away and we're back to standing.
Nickels connects with a body shot.
Orwell tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nickels scores with a counter punch that sends Orwell to the canvas! Nickels smells blood - he's punishing Orwell with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Orwell has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
