Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis McMurray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lay Pray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pray's choice of entrance music: Don't Fear the Reaper- Blue Oyster Cult. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lewis McMurray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lay Pray!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pray shoots in looking for a takedown but McMurray manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pray's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pray looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McMurray is fending him off so far but Pray persists. Nope, McMurray circles away and we're back to standing.
McMurray throws a head kick that misses.
McMurray keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lewis McMurray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lay Pray.
Pray throws a left and a right that both miss

and McMurray moves into the clinch.
Pray can't get the takedown.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McMurray.
McMurray lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Pray is trying to pull guard but McMurray has him pressed against the cage.
McMurray lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Pray wants to break free but McMurray has control.
McMurray scores with a nice hook to the head.
Our sources have told us that McMurray has been working on his elbows in the gym.
McMurray lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Pray is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
McMurray lands a nice shot to the body.
Pray looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pray drops down looking for an ankle pick but McMurray pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pray takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McMurray throws a right and a left that Pray avoids nicely.
McMurray with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McMurray forces Pray back against the cage and clinches.

McMurray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

McMurray closes the distance and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McMurray.
Pray has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
McMurray gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pray.
McMurray lands a knee to the body.
McMurray displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pray up against the cage.
A short right from McMurray on the inside.
McMurray gets through Pray's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
McMurray lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McMurray digs a right hand underneath Pray's ribcage. Pray let out a lung full of air as it connected.
McMurray scores with a nice hook to the head.
McMurray throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
McMurray lands with a left to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McMurray lands a right hand.

McMurray floors Pray with a big punch on the inside! Pray is trying to recover but McMurray dives into side control.


Pray is rocked!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
McMurray scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pray is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and McMurray can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lewis McMurray!
During a confident post fight interview, Lewis McMurray thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
