Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Seamon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Indigo Starseed!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Starseed closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Seamon did well to prevent Starseed getting side control.

Seamon is trying to stand.
Starseed moves into full mount! Seamon won't be happy about that!
Seamon is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Seamon is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Starseed looking to control but Seamon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Starseed has control of Seamon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Seamon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Starseed wants to control the pace but Seamon is squirming around nicely.
Seamon is trying to stand up.
Starseed sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Seamon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Starseed tries to control but Seamon wriggling away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Starseed is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Seamon has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Starseed can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Seamon is looking to escape.

Starseed swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Indigo Starseed!
A very excited looking Indigo Starseed made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
