Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiro Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orville Redenbacher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redenbacher has chosen Danger Zone as his entrance music. Yoshiro Gomi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Redenbacher lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gomi at a distance.

Gomi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gomi prevents Redenbacher from standing back up.
Gomi is keen to just control but Redenbacher is a slippery customer.
Gomi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Redenbacher is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
