Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Wensink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wensink comes to the cage accompanied by Momma Said Knock You Out. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Wensink misses the target.
Sonnen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Wensink is rocked!
Sonnen loads up on a big left hand. Wensink felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sonnen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Wensink can't hide his disappointment, as Sonnen celebrates the victory.
