The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Friday moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Friday shoots in and gets a takedown into Horton's guard.
Horton keeping full guard, as Friday tries to pass.
Friday is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Friday wants to stand but Horton has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Friday engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Francis Friday.

Horton is looking to control Friday's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Horton avoid being mounted?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Friday is on top in guard.
