The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackburn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A jab lands there for Blackburn.
It looks like Robert Boone has been cut.
We've been told by Blackburn's head coaches at MMA Warrior (1000$ / 15 Elite Coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Blackburn misses with a hook. Boone ducked under it nicely.
Boone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boone ducks right into an uppercut from Blackburn.
Brent Blackburn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blackburn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Boones jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Blackburn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
BOOM! Blackburn lands a beautiful left hook that drops Boone. Boone tries to recover but Blackburn is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Boone lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brent Blackburn!
