The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dagenais changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rush is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dagenais's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Rush works his way to full guard. Good work.
Rush is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Dagenais looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Dagenais tries to land knees in the clinch but Rush avoids the damage to the body.
Rush is working for takedown but Dagenais is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rush has clasped his hands together around Dagenais's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rush stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Dagenais shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dagenais was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rush avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dagenais.
Dagenais tries to stand but Rush is controlling his head.
Rush keeping his opponent close.
Rush is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dagenais off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rush working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Dagenais is doing well to defend. Rush seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Dagenais is forced to tap and this one is over!
