Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Svend Sved (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Zhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhu has chosen Meet Gazoo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhu throws a right and a left that both miss.

Sved drives through and clinches with Zhu against the cage.
Sved lands a hook that snaps the head of Zhu backwards.
Zhu is trying to push Sved away but Sved has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Zhu is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sved pulls his head out easily.

Zhu told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Sved tries to stand but can't do so whilst Zhu controls his leg.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zhu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zhu.

Zhu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sved can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Zhu has his foot on Sved's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sved works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Svend Sved will probably get the nod.
