Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Mustang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Blimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mustang comes to the cage accompanied by Little Rock. Bam Blimm will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
35 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roy Mustang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bam Blimm!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blimm misses with an attempted mid kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Blimm.
Mustang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Blimm counters with a nice uppercut.
Mustang looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Blimm on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Mustang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Blimm wants to stand up but Mustang is controlling him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blimm told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Mustang seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Mustang looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mustang is working for a kimura but Blimm is defending it quite comfortably.

Blimm is pressing down on Mustang's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mustang has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Mustang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mustang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mustang postures up in Blimm's guard and throws a big left but Blimm blocks it.
Blimm pulls Mustang in close to his closed guard and prevents Mustang from doing any damage or advancing position.
Mustang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Blimm is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mustang is controlling him.
We're going to have a standup here because Roy Mustang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Mustang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Blimm has time to react.
Blimm fails to land with a series of punches.
Mustang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blimm manages to avoid it.
Blimm takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A left and a right from Mustang both land. Nice combination.
Some wild striking there from Blimm.
Blimm moves in looking to clinch but Mustang pushes him off.

Blimm slips under a jab from Mustang.
Mustang shoots in and drives through. Blimm sprawls well.
Mustang just misses with a punch to the body.
Blimm circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mustang looks to throw the jab but Blimm is out of range.
Blimm dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mustang. That did some damage!

Bam Blimm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mustang doesn't manage to clinch there - Blimm circles away.
Blimm lands a nice hook to Mustang's body. Mustang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Blimm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mustang circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mustang stalks Blimm and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Blimm's face. Blimm staggers backwards, shaken.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
We're going to have a standup here because Roy Mustang wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Blimm throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mustang.
Blimm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mustang lands a jab to the head.
Mustang throws a hook but Blimm blocks it.
Blimm dodges the punch combination from Mustang.
Mustang cracks Blimm with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Blimm avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Blimm stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mustang takes the fight into the clinch.

Mustang moves in looking to clinch but Blimm pushes him off.
Blimm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mustang throws a right and a left that Blimm avoids nicely.

Mustang has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mustang there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mustang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blimm moves away.

Oh Mustang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blimm walks into a jab.
Mustang seems to have got his legs back now.
Mustang lands a two punch combo.
Mustang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Blimm.
Blimm's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mustang connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Blimm scrambles back to his feet.
Mustang has closed the distance and engaged Blimm in a clinch.
Mustang on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Mustang fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mustang wants a takedown.
Blimm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mustang avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters circling - Mustang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mustang thuds a left hand into Blimm's body.
Mustang tries a head kick but it misses.
Blimm throws a head kick but Mustang moves out of range.
Mustang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Blimm stuffs the takedown attempt from Mustang. Mustang gets slowly back to his feet.
Blimm is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Mustang hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bam Blimm!
An out of breath Bam Blimm thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Roy Mustang spoke after the fight, saying 'He beat him the first time, and he got me this time. Maybe a rubber match in the futher'.
