Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Habib al Habibin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). al Habibin comes into the arena with Can't Be Touched blaring out of the sound system. Habib al Habibin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort throws a head kick that misses.
Belfort shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts al Habibin as he jumps to the side.
Vitor Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
al Habibin shoots in for a takedown but Belfort shows good takedown defense.

al Habibin clinches up against the cage.
Belfort can't get the takedown.
al Habibin throws a knee to the head but misses.
al Habibin throws an elbow but it's blocked.

al Habibin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
al Habibin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belfort uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by al Habibin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
al Habibin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Belfort darts in trying to clinch
and al Habibin counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Belfort is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Belfort tries for a takedown but al Habibin circles away easily

Habib al Habibin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Belfort.

al Habibin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Belfort wants to control but al Habibin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

al Habibin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Belfort doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time al Habibin.

al Habibin is looking to advance position but Belfort won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Belfort swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and al Habibin counters with a body kick.

Both fighters circling a little - al Habibin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Belfort looks gassed!

al Habibin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Belfort sprawls well initially but al Habibin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

al Habibin stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Belfort takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
al Habibin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
al Habibin misses with a wild combination.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Belfort counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Belfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

al Habibin has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Belfort should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, al Habibin has tightened it up now! Belfort should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
