Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Dubois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Def Fossez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Def Fossez!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Dubois finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Fossez takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fossez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Fossez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fossez lands a left and a right that send Dubois crashing to the mat, dazed. Fossez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dubois is rocked!

It looks like Pierre Dubois has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fossez finds Dubois's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Dubois flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Fossez lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Dubois will be OK.
