Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Thunstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunstrom comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Prodigy - Spitfire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Thunstrom misses with a low kick.
Thunstrom throws an off balance right hand
and Maddox counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Maddox tries to free his leg and advance position but Thunstrom is retaining full guard.
Thunstrom is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Maddox has his hands clasped together but Thunstrom extends and breaks Maddox's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Thunstrom.
