Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Valdemes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jarvan Atherton!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdemes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Atherton can pounce on him.
Atherton throws a series of punches but Valdemes avoids them all with ease.
Atherton darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Atherton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Valdemes.
Valdemes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nice shot lands for Atherton.
Atherton jabs Valdemes right on the nose. Valdemes blinks but takes it well.
Atherton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Valdemes wants to get back to full guard.
Atherton winds up and cracks Valdemes with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Valdemes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Atherton working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Valdemes works his way to full guard. Good work.
Atherton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Valdemes works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Atherton wants to control from the top but Valdemes keeps moving.
Atherton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valdemes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valdemes is looking for a triangle but Atherton pushes his legs off easily.
Valdemes has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Atherton has passed into side control.
Atherton controlling the position.
Valdemes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Atherton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Valdemes looks to move to half guard but instead Atherton has passed into mount! Damn!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Atherton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Atherton is landing with some decent strikes but Valdemes is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Valdemes is desperately trying to improve his position but Atherton has a good base and remains in mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Atherton looking to secure an arm triangle but Valdemes defends it well.
Valdemes is bucking up trying to escape but Atherton cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Valdemes is in all sorts of trouble here.

Valdemes wants to control but Atherton is having none of it.
Atherton is landing with some decent strikes but Valdemes is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Atherton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Valdemes is looking to get to half guard.
Atherton controlling the position easily from mount.
Atherton's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Atherton lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Valdemes is in all sorts of trouble here.
Valdemes slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Valdemes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Atherton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Atherton's back!
Atherton wants to escape the position.
Valdemes is trying to stick to Atherton's back but Atherton is turning into Valdemes. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Valdemes's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Atherton.

Valdemes wants to sweep here but Atherton controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Valdemes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Atherton misses with a head kick.
Valdemes has his takedown stuffed
and Atherton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jarvan Atherton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valdemes with a lazy takedown attempt
and Atherton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Atherton feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Valdemes collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
