Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan LeChance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan LeChance will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jordan LeChance!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from LeChance.

LeChance closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cash has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. LeChance is working away from the top position though.

Cash is doing well to control the position and prevent LeChance from advancing to side control.
Cash has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

LeChance decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

We've been informed that LeChance has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Cash has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. LeChance is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Cash is trying to work for a single leg takedown but LeChance pulls him back up using the underhooks.
LeChance is trying to force a seperation but Cash has the dominant position.

Cash misses with an elbow strike.
LeChance stops a takedown attempt from Cash.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ezekiel Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cash successfully pulls guard.
LeChance wants to get up but he can't break Cash's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Cash pulls LeChance in close to his closed guard and prevents LeChance from doing any damage or advancing position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cash's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Cash darts in and clinches LeChance up against the cage.
LeChance gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cash.
Cash is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables LeChance to keep the fight standing.

Cash jumps guard and drags LeChance to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cash might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

LeChance feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We're going to have a standup here because Ezekiel Cash wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
LeChance avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
LeChance throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cash lands a jab to LeChance's midsection.

LeChance manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cash on his heels. He'll look to pass Cash's guard now, I'm sure.

Cash is going oldschool here, as he tries to force LeChance to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so LeChance shrugs it off.
