The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Memphis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adabisi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Adabisi throws a looping overhand right but Memphis ducks down to avoid it.
Adabisi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Basics -LOD- in the buildup to the fight.
A punch combination from Memphis misses.
Adabisi throws a hook but Memphis blocks it.
Adabisi takes a swing at Memphis's ribcage but misses.
Adabisi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Memphis eats them both and turns towards Adabisi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nice straight punches there by Adabisi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Adabisi.
Memphis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Adabisi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Memphis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Adabisi.

Adabisi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Memphis.

A decent looking cross lands there for Adabisi.

Memphis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Memphis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Memphis swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Adabisi.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
