Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ardian Shiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Batts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shiba comes to the cage accompanied by Theme tune Mohammed rapes children. Batts has chosen Pro-pain - Make war (not love) as his entrance music. Billy Batts has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Batts there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Batts connects with a looping right hand.
Batts throws a jab but it's blocked by Shiba.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Batts.
Batts tried to score with a low kick but Shiba checks it.
A head kick misses from Batts.
Shiba shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Batts defends it nicely.
Shiba looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Shiba is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Batts.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Batts lands a really nice looking cross but Shiba seems unphased.

Shiba has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Batts clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
You can see the frustration on Batts's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Shiba throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Batts is really stuck here.
Shiba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Shiba is trying to stick to Batts's back but Batts is turning into Shiba. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Shiba's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Batts.
Batts wants to stand but Shiba is controlling his posture from full guard.

Shiba controls Batts momentarily but Batts frees himself.
Batts trying to control the position from guard on top but Shiba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Batts slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Billy Batts has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Shiba tries to keep at a distance but Batts has taken the fight into the clinch.

Shiba manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Shiba is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Shiba has Batts pulled in close to control his posture.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Billy Batts hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A nice leg kick lands there from Batts.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Batts tries to score with a low kick but Shiba moves his leg out of the way.
Batts wants to slow Shiba down by chopping away at his legs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Batts throws a right hand that Shiba ducks under and follows up with a left that Shiba also avoids with ease.
Batts throws a low kick but it's checked well by Shiba.
Billy Batts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shiba looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Batts throws a hook to the side of Shiba's head but Shiba sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Batts tries to score with a low kick but Shiba moves his leg out of the way.
Shiba on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Shiba tries to work over Batts's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Batts gets through Shiba's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Batts landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Batts lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Shiba drops down looking for an ankle pick but Batts pulls his leg out and moves away.
Shiba fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ardian Shiba. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Batts scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shiba doesn't seem bothered though.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Batts connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shiba. Shiba circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Batts throws a nice inside leg kick.
Shiba tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Shiba shoots in looking for a takedown. Batts tries to sprawl out of it but Shiba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Batts manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Batts lands a big head kick that sends Shiba tumbling to the mat! Batts takes a step backwards and waves Shiba back to his feet - he wants the finish!

A kick lands to the mid section there for Batts.
Batts swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shiba.

Batts fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shiba has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Shiba takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Shiba darts in looking for a takedown but Batts gets double underhooks and turns Shiba into the cage.

Shiba goes for a takedown attempt but Batts pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Batts comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Batts tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shiba was well out of range. Poor timing from Batts.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Batts takes a swing at Shiba's ribcage but misses.
Batts with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Billy Batts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Batts tries to bum rush Shiba with a series of wild strikes but Shiba uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Batts swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Batts throws a hook to the side of Shiba's head but Shiba sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Batts turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Shiba tries to score a power double leg takedown but Batts sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shiba somewhat.

Billy Batts is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Shiba sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Batts does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Batts lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Shiba takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Batts fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good work by Shiba as he checks the leg kick.
Shiba moves out of range of the leg kick from Batts.
Shiba shoots for a double leg takedown but Batts sprawls well. He's pushed Shiba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Shiba is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
