The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nice takedown defense from Glone. No joy for Calhoun on that attempt.

Calhoun clinches up with Glone and pushes him back against the cage.

Glone manages to break the clinch.
Glone takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Glone tries to sprawl but Calhoun drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Calhoun remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Glone wants to get back to his feet but Calhoun drags him back down.

The referee asks Calhoun politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Calhoun prefers to stall for the moment though.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Oren Calhoun just wasn't active enough.

Calhoun closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Glone quickly recovers to half guard.
Glone wants to get back to his feet.

Glone bucks up and tries to throw Calhoun off but instead Calhoun has got his back!

Calhoun is working for a rear naked choke. Glone is not defending it well and Calhoun has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Glone refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Glone's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
