Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Siuto Daiu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Vettel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Vettel will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daiu tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Vettel counters with a one-two to the body.

and Daiu counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Vettel is lucky that one didn't land flush.

I was talking to Daiu's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Vettel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Daiu uses from the top position.
