The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zanetti throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hammer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hammer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hammer tries to clinch up.
Zanetti gets a clinch.
Zanetti tries to pull guard but Hammer holds him up against the cage and eventually Zanetti drops back down to his feet.
Zanetti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheers as Hammer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Zanetti doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Pablo Zanetti has been cut.

Zanetti looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Zanetti shoots in looking for a takedown but Hammer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zanetti 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hammer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zanetti , pushing him back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Zanetti sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hammer's guard.
Hammer is breathing heavily.

Zanetti is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hammer can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hammer is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Zanetti can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hammer is looking to escape.
Zanetti has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Hammer will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
