The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Martinez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cannon's hands.

It looks like Allan Cannon has been cut.
Cannon throws a quick inside leg kick.
Martinez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Martinez tries to clinch but Cannon is having none of it.
Martinez throws a wild body kick that Cannon sees coming a mile off.
Martinez throws a nice inside leg kick.

Martinez moves into range and clinches up with Cannon.
Cannon takes a shot to the head.
Martinez tries to circle away but Cannon has him pinned against the cage.

Martinez breaks from the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martinez looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Martinez tries to clinch but Cannon is having none of it.
Martinez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Martinez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cannon sprawling to the canvas! Cannon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Martinez finish him?!

Cannon is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Martinez connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Cannon covering up! Martinez comes in with a big uppercut and Cannon goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
